I’m Anna, an LA-based filmmaker with a love for vintage architecture and unique, character-filled homes. I started scouting for friends moving to Los Angeles and realized I had an unusual knack for finding the best of LA’s beautiful historic apartments. I love apartment hunting almost as much as I love this city, and I’m always happy to help other aesthetically-motivated renters find their dream LA rental homes.
In a past life as a political campaign staffer, I lived in half a dozen states and traveled through 48, and have rented at least 10 apartments—so my expertise at apartment hunting comes from lived experience. I am originally from Georgetown, in Washington DC, and grew up in a 1925 townhouse, where my love of historic architecture began.
I now live in a whimsical 1927 storybook apartment in Echo Park. LA has been my home for five years, and I hope to never leave. I have lived in West Hollywood and on the East Side, and have a particular expertise in and around those areas. I specialize in pre-war apartments (before 1940) with a fondness for Spanish Revival, French Norman, Art Deco, Craftsman, and Mid-Century Modern styles.

No. I’m an independent apartment scout with a boutique consulting service. I keep my client list small so each renter gets highly personalized support. I curate highly personalized shortlists of ideal apartments based on your needs, then physically tour units and film walkthroughs.
